  1. They sound like bug bites. Wash with betadine and put  a product called "Swat" on it. It is a fly repellent, antiseptic wound treatment.

  2. I'm not sure what the sticky stuff is (maybe sap from a tree), but if swat or another topical solution doesn't work try Desatine (for diaper rashes). It works wonders!

  3. unless there is a pic of it, it will be hard to tell. if you think it might be infected, call a vet. you can prolly call and ask a vet about it over the phone. some vets refuse to tell you without them coming out first, but you might be able to find one who is willing to help you.

  4. 1.  Call your vet

    2.  Clean any open bleeding wounds well with hydrogen peroxide and apply something like Iodine or a wound dressing to keep out infection.

It could be lots of things - like bugs biting her, if she's in a wooded area, it could be a bush or tree she's rubbing on that she's rubber herself raw and then gotten the sap on it.

Either way, doesn't sound life-threatening - DO call the vet as soon as you can, though and check on it every few hours so you have a "story" to tell about what has happened to the wound when the vet does come.

  5. It could be an allergy, insect bites or a fungus.  It sounds like you need a vet's diagnosis before it spreads or you have a major infection to deal with.
