I had the vet out but she barely looked at it and said it was some kind of dermatitis.I thought it was from kicking at her stomach because the flies were bothering her but now I am really careful with the fly spray and she still has this weird wiry hair in just those three spots. Anyone ever see anything like this. The vet said it wouldn't spread but like I said she didn't take a very good look at it and it freaks me out. Thanks for any info you can give me.

  1. A photo would help...or you can try a really detailed explanation of what you are looking at.

I just cleaned my horse's back cannon bones the other day.  It was like the winter hair didn't shed off all the way.  So they were 'lumpy' with blobs of hair and dead skin cells.  Once they were removed...the hair and skin underneath was normal and laid flat.  Is that anything like what you are talking about??

    **EDIT...go to http://tinypic.com/

You don't need an account to download from your computer.  Needs to be a jpg photo.  Then click on the link that says 'direct link'.  Copy that link and paste it in your answer or question.  You can't edit or anything...just post.

You can make an account with 'photobucket'

And you can edit your photos and create albums.  You also have to copy the 'direct link' and paste it in your question or answer.  Although...I have trouble with that one too often.  So, it's up to you.

There is another one that people talk about...called Flicker or something like that.  I don't use it...so I don't know.

I am a TOTAL idiot on the computer...but I was able to learn for the photos.  Took me a few times of messing up...but I finally got it.  Go ahead and try...
