  1. So your horse is stuck in a trailer and your first instinct is to run to your computer?

    You are AWESOME.

    1)  If you are simply curious as to what happens if a horse gets stuck in a trailer, then just ask.  Don't make up a story to go along with it.

    2)  If you are just bored, then find a new hobby.  This one is pretty sad.

  2. someone call a doctor,i think the english language is going into cardiac arrest,CLEAR.sorry i couldn't resist.open the back door and take off the butt bar and walk up to the front of the trailer on the open side ,untie the lead rope, and kiss your horse back slowly.one of the first things i do is to teach my horse to back up and whoa, the rest comes naturally.

  3. Hmmmm....the problem I have with this is the whole thought process, or perhaps lack thereof.  The horse is "stuck" in the trailer, meaning in this case he's (if I mucked through the atrocious spelling correctly) being stubborn and won't back out.  Not can't....won't.  So, anyway, you have a horse with an attack of bull headedness, and rather than deal with the situation at hand, what do you do?  Run somewhere, jump on a computer, and go to trusty yahooanswers?  And this is going to help the situation how?   At any rate, the time to deal with such a situation is before you go somewhere, at home, when you have time to make it a training situation.  I had such an issue once, two very large stubborn geldings in a slant load that were bound and determined that they would NOT back out.  Now, we didn't run around frantically trying to find a computer so we could ask someone that was not at all familiar with the situation how to deal with it....we got in, took the divider out between the two, pushed one very far forward until we were able to get enough room to turn the other one around.  After we turned him around and walked him out, there was room to turn the other.  If all else fails, remove the center divider and turn him around.  Tougher in a straight load, but I've seen it done.  If you have the time, another option is to just wait him out.  He'll get tired of standing in there if you leave the door open....he'll figure it out.

  4. I find it hard to take this seriously because of your grammar or lack there of.  Just back the horse out, or remove the center divider so he can turn around.

  5. Shut the door and wait until tomorrow. I bet he'll be glad to come out by then. (You will have to ask him to back out by the way).

  6. Most straight load trailers have a removable center divider.  Your best bet is to remove it and let your horse turn around and walk out on its own.  In the future try and remember it's a lot easier to trailer train a horse at home than at an unfamiliar place.
