My horse just kicked my best friends horse ,,, Can she sue me ?

It all depends on how it happened . and if you where at a ridding stable?

If so some states won't allow a law suite to go thru the court like in Az it's ride at your own risk

What Newman said was right  to help pay for the vet would be good

In theory I suppose she could, but I don't see how it would stand up in court.  Horses are unpredictable animals and things like this happen all the time.

She'd have a better chance of a case against you if your horse had kicked HER, not the other horse.  As long as you take reasonable care in preventing accidents you should be ok.

Did the accident happen out in the field or when the horses were being led in?

As long as the other horse is ok you will be fine.  If there are any problems it may be nice of you to offer to pay any vet bills as a geasture of good will.
