  1. I'd call around to equine vets to get prices.

I'm not sure for horses, but in June I had one done on my dog at an emergency clinic.  It was $298 just for the endoscope part, plus the 47 other items they tack onto the bill, followed by the emergency surgery when the endoscope couldn't remove the junk in her stomach.  Overall, it was a very expensive and crappy day.

I'm sure it varies from place to place.  At the office I work at, it's an office visit ($25), sedation usually (anywhere from $18-$35) and the exam itself is $65, unless it's tremendously involved, then the cost goes up a bit.  As another poster suggested, I'd call around to the local vets in your area that perform this service, and get their prices.
