  1. If he's gonna suffer pain, put him to sleep. Its better that he doesn't suffer pain. Its awful seeing your pet in pain.

  2. I'm sorry but no when ahorses legs fails them then most likely he won't make it! Cool name though

  3. That is a question for your Vet.Get him checked asap.Do not let him suffer.

  4. No. My horse did the same thing. Don't let him suffer anymore. ;-) Listen to DAD.

  5. 10 years is pretty young for a horse. Has a vet looked at Smokey? the vet can help you decide if putting the horse down is a good idea.

  6. I don't think you can really save him.  If he falls down alot, he must be in alot of pain.  It would be best to put him out of his misery.  Sorry, :(

    Merry Xmas,

  7. You need to get him to a vet asap.  If there is nothing that can be done to make him comfortable, you will have to put him down (I know how hard this is.  We had to put my dog to sleep when I was a teenager and I still think about her).  Ten really isn't that old for a horse.  If the vet tells you that there is some kind of surgery that can be done or other treatment, even if you can't afford it, you may be able to get a charitable organization created to help animals to donate the money.  And, even if he can't work after such surgery, there are horse sanctuaries that take good care of retired horses.  However, you do need to get him to the vet asap.  You can't let him suffer and if there is nothing that can be done to make him comfortable you are going to have to put him to sleep (if you love him, that's the best thing to do).

  8. Oh, that sounds horrible

    is he got arthritic legs?

    that may be a possiblility

but if he's in real pain i'd do

the rite thing if he is just suffering

it may be a really hard call especially if

you have a really tight relationship than it would probly.......................

be wise to check into it first but if he is

really suffering you have to let him go i know

its sad but you dont want them in pain it hurts you more to see them in pain than it does putting them

down i know i am a horse lover and love

all horses but i dont like seeing them in pain

if you know what i mean.

thanks for being a responsible horse owner! do the right thing
