My horse wont move! Help!?

Question

I got a new horse about 3 months ago and hes been great but just this month hes been really bad! When I'm walking him to the round pin he stops and wont move my dad couldn't even get him to move. I don't know why he is doing this and i know he is healthy, and i havnt changed anything since we've bought him! Also when i try to canter he just trots super fast and even my trainer cant break him into a steady canter its super frustrating! Please help me! Thanks! =]

if your horse is still young, you might want to consider taking him back to the trainer for some refresher training. its all there, he just needs to be reminded how to do things properly again.

to get him to move,pull a little to one side and he has to or you'll pull him over (he wont let you do this so he will walk) but do it at an angle so that he goes forward and sideways at the same time.....
