  1. my advice is you need to check with the hotel as each and every hotel have their own rate chargeable

  2. check with reception

  3. Why are you asking us? Ask Reception. They'll know better than us!!

  4. Hi Bin.    I have stayed at a few hotels in Eastbourne.   All I can say is  "It is expensive".   Rates are required by law to be displayed by the phone.   For inland calls, some hotels charge 20p. per min.   (A rip off).    If there is a public phone in hotel, use that - you can get 15 mins. for 40p. on B T line.

Some hotels have a continental phone.    These are great, if you just want to say "Hallo".   Dial the number, when answered, you will be prompted to put money in.   Just carry on talking - you will be cut off after 25 seconds.   A FREE call.  It is surprising what you can say in 25 seconds.

Good luck.    Do not line the pockets of the Greedy Bxxxxs.

  5. There is no control over what they can charge and you will not know until you check out and have the bill. It will be a high charge even compared with a mobile so best advice is do not use it.

  6. Very expensive don't do it.  I stayed in a hotel in NY last year. Stupidly got drunk, called relatives in Australia (spoke for about 20 mins) and was presented with a $190 bill when checking out

  7. It is variable.... normally it is a flat rate for a local call, regardless of how long the call duration is.

Be careful though... normally you need to dial a number before dialing an outside number.

  8. How much? It is B E!!

You will be grossly overcharged by the hotel. Ask before you dial.
