My house is having pulsating water for around 1 minute after the yard sprinkler system turns on could this be?

sounds like the bladder in your air tank is busted ,causing the pump to turn on and off rapidly ,until the pressure builds. to check this ,on the top of the tank there will be a cap ,remove it and you will see a valve stem like on a tire ,push the little pin in it to see if any air comes out .if water ,or no air comes out you will need a new tank.

First check if your water pressure regulator is before your water that goes to the sprinkler system.
