Question:

My husband's credit card was stolen?

We found out yesterday that it was stolen and the thief went to the mall and purchased some shoes, food, and gas. I know where the mall is. I want to be able to see if the thief was caught on camera so that the appropiate actions can be taken against this punk. Do I need to file a police report so that I can get a tape? The card has been canceled, so do I need to talk to the credit bureaus about anything? What else can be done besides calling the credit card company, which I have done already?

P.S. My husband thinks it was stolen by a co-worker. He's in the military.

  1. You guys have gotta call your credit card company immediately sothat you will be reimbursed the stolen cash. The more you delay, the more unlikely it will be for the credit card company to give you your money back.

Although the credit card is in your name, it is still the property of the credit card company. So i think the credit card company will sort it out with the police but you gotta imform them first. Don't wait until this thief goes on vacation on your account.

  2. Yes you'll need to get the law involved if you want tapes to be analized. They won't let "just anyone" look at them.

File a police report asap... Get this resolved as quickly as possibly.

    good luck.
