daughter. I really want to work but you see, I can't afford to get a Nanny because of my minimum salary. I have a degree and I have regret with my degree if I stay at home and be a plain housewife. Please help me I don't know what to do. By next year, my daughter will go to school. I usually leave her to my in-laws or to my mother when I'm at work since I don't have a nanny. HELP!!!

  1. stay home with your daughter, go to school on the web when your daughter is and school u can go back to work

  2. What about taking classes so you can get a new degree? If he can afford it you can do that to be productive rather than feel like your just waiting around until your kid comes back home from school.

I'm assuming the scariest part is staying at home will inevitably isolate you from meeting new and intersting people. Going back to school will keep you engaged in something challenging while you see new faces.

  3. If he had wanted a total domestic committment from a lady then he should not have chosen you! He knew your academic background when he married - he has no right to expect you to try & change what is fundamentally you!

Google Desiderata & read it - it is a short piece - it might help you to deal with this a bit better.

    Good Luck & Best Wishes.

  4. If you really want to work, then you should work. Your daughter is probably enjoying all the time spent with her grandparents. When she starts school, they'll see her less and you'll still see her just as much. So you should keep the arrangement as is and let the grandparents have what little time they have left with her.

Why does he want you to stay home and take care of her? If it bothers him that you're working, that's a bad thing. If it's bothering him that the child doesn't spend enough time with her parents, then maybe he should be the one to stay home.
