There are some tours you can take to see a flower clock, on the canadian side. There is a tower to go up on the canadian side as well..

I would go for a day trip. When i went (i went 3-4 times, since i lived in Rochester, NY) i found that everything around you is so commercial, everything aimed at your pocket.. I would simply sit and enjoy the scnery, you may even pack your lunch and have a small picnic with him, something less comercial, someting more romantic...

The Fallsview Casino... it's so nice... I think right now at the Casino they have Cirque Du Soliel playing there!!!

Think about taking the drive to Niagara on the Lake by the scenic route along the way there is the helicopter ride the botanical garden & the butterfly conservitory.Once you get into Niagara on the Lake the shops there are really nice(there is the just christmas store for example)

I do like the Journey Behind the Falls though & on Friday nights (check with 1-800-Ontario line to make sure though)is the fireworks

There are actually 2 casinos - Casino Niagara and Fallsview Casino Resort.

You can go to Skylon Tower for a birds-eye view of the falls - Skylon Tower also has a revolving restaurant.

Go to Table Rock Scenic Tunnels for a journey behind the Horseshoe Falls.

Also visit Niagara on the Lake. It is a nearby small town, very charming. On the way to Niagara on the Lake you can go to Niagara Botanical Gardens, Niagara Floral Clock and the Butterfly Conservatory.

You can also go to Marineland if you like that sort of attractions.

Be sure to hit the Cave of the Winds.  It's a walk really close to the falls and one even goes behind the American Falls.  Queenston heights is a great place to go to see the historical aspect of the area and also to go up in the statue overlooking the escarpment.  The flowers are gorgeous and there is also a butterfly exhibit that is pretty cool too.  There are also some speedboats that run the Niagara Gorge that give rides.  The Canadian side has lots of wax museums.

if u are driving into Niagara Falls, stop at a Tourist Information center along one of the incoming highways

there is a horse and buggy ride along the river near the Canadian Falls, not sure when that starts tho, but pretty sure there out there already

Maid of the Mist is good, Casino Niagara(old one) has a yuk Yuk's in it, Fallsview Casiono (new one) has the Avalon room with some shows in there.
