  1. Sorry, Florida is fresh out of newborn babies today

Might I recommend one of the thousands of kids waiting in foster care for stable loving homes

    Just a suggestion

  2. I'm sorry that you are receiving some insulting answers.  Unfortunately, there are people here on Y!A who feel that they have the right to throw insults in their answers.  Don't let it discourage you.

I would recommend contacting a local reputable adoption agency to ask more questions specifically about Florida.  We used Adoptions From the Heart (www.adoptionsfromtheheart.org) on the East Coast and even if they don't have an office in Florida, perhaps they can direct you to an appropriate agency.

I also recommend looking into Florida's foster care system.  There are many children in the system who are waiting for loving homes.  You can find more information out by contacting Florida's Dept of Human Services.

    Good luck to you.

  3. Try www.adoption.com or www.adopting.com

These sites have many agencies that advertise on them. Some specific to Florida

    good luck

  4. You might  head over to adoption.com forums go to adoptive parents section there are a lot of parents who have adopted over there, you might be able to find someone who used an agency in Florida.  BDP wife also gave some good advice too.

Yes please don’t rule foster care adoption out , you can find some baby and young toddlers in FCS.

  5. If you are open to adopting any race then you may want to check out ASCS at www.ascsadopt.org.  They don't have fees that are high like some others.

  6. I don't live in Florida, and I don't know if this will help at all, but I just wanted to tell you that if there is ANY way you can find someone who is pregnant and wanting to give up the baby, you could do a private adoption.  It's MUCH cheaper, MUCH easier and can be a wonderful thing to keep in touch with the birthmom.  I'm sorry if that is not an option, I just wanted to give a little advice.  GOOD LUCK in your quest!  Adoption is a hard thing from both sides and I wish you all the luck in the world.  :-)
