My husband and I are invited to a neighbors surprise bday party. What do we bring?

We do not know the neighbors very well but we are friendly with them. They have invited us over several times but this is the first time we have accepted.

It is a surprise birthday party for the mom of the house. Would we get her a gift or something as a thank you for inviting us?

a bottle of good wine would go down well, it is nice to receive something so maybe get her something small she will appreciate it as it is the thought that counts.

I think you can choose a oil painting as an birthday gift to get your friends, it's very special and it also can remind them of you.The price is not very high.I have ever bought some in a company whose service is good.

Yes that would be a good idea if it is for a birthday party you are invited..  maybe some chocolates for the mom's birthday or some scented candle or a little glass container and potpourri for her and a bottle of wine for the rest. Then you have something as a birthday gift and some wine to take over to celebrate, so that nobody is left out.

well bring what they enjoy. like wine or beer. what they enjoy and they should have a blast.

a bottle of wine for a drinker is always nice for a thank you or a birthday. i would suggest getting something that could be for either. such as the wine or an already made up gift basket. since this is not a close friend i dont think you would be expected to bring a regular gift as you have no idea what she likes or already has.
