My husband and I are looking for a romantic, secluded getaway to spend our 1st anniversary. Any suggestions?

Looking to spend no more than $1,000. Because of our work schedule, we must arrive October 9th and depart October 13th. We live in south Lousiana, and would fly out of New Orleans rather than drive to our destination if it was a long drive.

I would try Expedia, they have a ton of ideas and last minute specials. I would try maybe Nashville, its nice that time of year. Not too cold yet, and plenty of things to do. Lodging is reasonable, and the city is great!

Or maybe San Antonio TX, the river walk is awesome and the nightlife is fun!
