My husband and I have decided on Cadence Mckenna Merida, for a girl!

and Cash Nasby Merida for a boy.

What do you think?

I love the name Cadence Mckenna....And Cash is a unique name for a boy...but I am not fond of Nasby????? Also keep in mind that people will always find it easy to make fun of your boy with that name...(still I like it..Cash)

I do like Cash, and while Nasby is odd, I love that it honors your husband's grandfather.  Since it's in the middle slot, it's not bad.  The only issue I might have with Cash Nasby Merida is that you are using three surnames in your child's name, but Cash doesn't FEEL particularly surnamey, so if it doesn't bother you, it doesn't bother me much either.

I don't like Cadence McKenna at all (sorry).  Though it's not extremely common yet, Cadence has gone from #958 to #199 in the past 6 years, so it still feels extremely trendy.  McKenna has a similar not-too-popular-but-extremely trendy vibe, perhaps because of it's similarity to the oh-so-popular MacKenzie.  You might consider Piper instead of Cadence -- it has a similar musical vibe, but it feels a bit more substantial.  Piper McKenna isn't bad, though I prefer a more feminine middle name with it, such as Piper Miranda.  If you are set on using Cadence, I like it better paired with a more classic middle name -- it tempers the trendiness a bit.  Perhaps consider:

Cadence Miranda

Cadence Naomi

Cadence Fiona

Cadence Felicity

Cadence Elizabeth

Cadence is just okay.  McKenna I could do without.  Cash is a VERY, VERY cool name and I love it.  Nasby seems made up and I'm not a fan.

Cadence McKenna is really nice.

Cash is okay, but I don't care for Nasby.

Just my opinion though.  Go with whatever you like.
