  1. There are alot of variables to consider.  For example, domestic vs. international, age of child, etc.

In general, an international adoption, whether private or independent, can cost anywhere between $10,000 and $40,000. Domestic public agency adoptions are the least expensive with most costing no more than $3,000 while domestic private agency adoption rarely cost less than $5,000 and often as much as $40,000.

  2. The price of adoption is allot of money no matter how you go about it and it takes a LONG time.  They have state fund programs that are allot cheaper I would check into that.  That is how I adopted my son through the state the BEST decision I ever made

  3. Can be.  But not always.  You can foster-adopt through your state.  You risk that the child may be returned to the birthfamily, but may not.  And it may take years, or may not.

Otherwise, you can network with church, doctors, clinics, workplace, etc.

But you take a huge risk financially if you do not go through a licensed agency.  Sometimes couples want to save the big adoption fee by going on their own, only to loose thousands of dollars, then not being able to adopt because all their money is gone!

Do lots of research first!  There are MANY posts previously here.....just go back and READ lots of posts!  You will learn almost every thing you need to know!

    Good luck!!

  4. Everything about babies is expensive.  You'll spend thousands of dollars on them every year until they are out on their own with their own jobs and lives.  Clothes, food, child care, medical bills, everything costs money.

  5. My husband and I adopted...We adopted through the state we lived in at the time.  If you call the Children services in your state you can adopt a child of just about any age.  We decided to adopt a 6 year old because they have a lot of older children but, also have young babies too.  They provide just about everything you need plus.....We had a lot less money then but, it was well worth it....  If you have any questions would be glad to help you out if I can.  ladylady4470@yahoo.com

  6. if your bodies can handle it, probly cheaper to just hatch one out

    more painful for her though

  7. Depends where you are getting the baby from.

  8. its more expensive in america then to go to like china, etc. thats why so many people go to other countries to adopt. but there are also plenty of lonely american kids who need homes :(

  9. Look into foster adopt.  If you adopt a child out of foster care there is often no expense for the adoptive family.  There are a lot of kids in foster care that need a forever home (kids of all ages).

  10. Why adopt when I can make you one for free?

  11. it usually is, but you have to think before you do this, if you get a baby that the mom and dad used tons of drugs or have HIV or stuff like that, the babies and your lives will be a very hard one ( yes I know you will love the baby no matter what, but it will be a hard life for all) so think ..and my cousin went to China to get a baby girl, the family said they trow them out and keep the boys...so my cousin got two sister and love them and they are healthy and great kids.

so maybe that is the way to go

    smile

    good luck

    and GOD BLESS
