  1. I don't think you can make your own "pop"sicle.  I think you need to use a professional service to do that kind of thing.  They usually use cryogenics to freeze the "material".  The home refridgerator or icebox won't provide the sufficient temperature.

  2. Have you thought about using Prometrium or Prochieve to delay your period and possibly ovulate at a time when he is home?  For how long is he gone?  What days to you usually have an LH surge?

  3. Don't do it - you cannot save a fresh sample for later use.  When couples use a sperm bank, the specimen is treated and cryo-frozen at a temperature that you cannot even reach by putting it in the freezer.

If you are not going to use a fertility clinic and sperm bank that will properly treat your husband's sample then it will not work as the sperm will die from not being treated and you will risk infection that will potentially impact your future fertility.

Try to get your schedules in line . . . or consult a clinic and do it properly.

    Good luck!

  4. Does he have business trips?  Maybe you can go along with if his employer doesn't mind.  Or you do know that sperm can live 3-5 days, sometimes up to 7 days and can then penetrate the egg and also up to 48 hours after ovulation.  Try having s*x just before he leaves if it is in that 3-5 day timeframe.

  5. I think in order for seman to be stored and fully functional after LONG periods of time, it has to be refrigerated at -100 C.
