we dont have visas etc yet, but we plan on doing so once we have decided it's for us. Will it be hard to find work, without having a visa?

  1. ewe

    nasty french canndian eweeeeeeeeeeee

  2. don't worry about learning a new language, most of them up there are french canadian or just plain canadian and they mostly speak english.

i understand why you would want to move there, hah.

you will need a visa to find work though. you should apply for one first before you just move there. living there is much cheaper thogh if you go to the right places and im sure you can find a (probably low income) job that can pay the bills.

but hey, it's worth a shot, you can always come back!!

    good luck!

  3. Without a work visa or permanent residency, you won't be able to get a SIN number, you won't be eligible for health care, worker's compensation, or able to open a savings account.  You will be working "under the table" and your wages will be accordingly low.  People do it, but it is sort of seasonal and mostly done by citizens trying to evade the taxman.

www.cic.gc.ca is the Canadian immigration website  Check it out.

  4. I would think it would be.  Have you considered trying to teach your native language there? If so, you can get a job doing that, and they will take care of getting you work visas.
