  1. Just because you have a family history of having twins, it don't mean it may happen. You just have to see if you get lucky at it.

I mean I have a family history of having girls. But my cousion had a boy! So it don't always happen girlfriend

  2. Pretty much luck as to whether you have twins or not. The older you get, the *slightly* higher chance that more than one egg will be released during ovulation, but then there's another coin toss as to whether they both get fertilised, and so on.

Mrs Murphy's Law...Usually it's the ones who don't want 'em, that get 'em!

  3. If you have twins in the family or sometimes its just a random thing ...

also if you use fertility treatments...

    Good luck

  4. If you don't have any problems getting pregnant, chances are a fertility dr won't help you. There are too many other people with real fertility problems, and a pregnancy with multiples can get complicated.  Even if you did do IVF, just transfering 2 eggs doesn't guarantee you'll have twins. The 1st time we did IVF, we transfered 3 and got nothing. Plus, it costs around $10,000.  You may be able to talk your OBGYN into giving you Clomid, which could make you produce multiple eggs depending on the dose.  But even then you aren't guaranteed both or either will fertilize.

  5. its just luck of the draw.

  6. you can always do invetro and implant two fertile eggs. but i would research first cause sometimes more come out then planned.
