Is their any way we can make this happen. Does that mean i cannot buy any pink or blues until after the baby is here? Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  1. Have him step out of the room before you find out. If you want to buy clothes just wait til he's at work or gone somewhere else then just hide them and not let him know what you bought.

  2. Well I think knowing the babys s*x is something very special and I can understand him we all have different opions some want to know and some dont if its you first child I can understand him he wants it to be a surprise perfectly normal I would do the same and wait you can find out if u want and just dont let him know and you can buy stuff just dont let him seee anything its his special moment dont rudden it for him Good Luck to both and Congrats

  3. I mean you can find out at your appointment, just ask your husband to leave the room when the doctor tells you. Once you know and you want to buy stuff, you're going to have to hide it lol.

i mean is possible, but you have to make sure where you hide it, its not a place your husband is going to look... or put the stuff you get at a friends or family members house until the baby is here.

  4. haha ya unfortunately..unless you hide them in the babys closet!

but if you find out it will be really hard not to tell.

any story you have you will call the baby a boy or girl on accident unless you contunie to do it with each s*x then he wont know

  5. You can have them tell you and not your hubby. Lots of people do this. You have to really be sure you can keep the secret before you find out, its really hard.

  6. Oh man this is such a tough one. My fiance and I decided that we wanted to know the s*x of the baby, only I went to call my father to tell him it was a little boy. The first thing he said to me when he answered the phone is "I don't want to know". lol. Well I kept it hidden from him for about a few weeks and then I ended up blurting it out by accident. Oh well.

Anyways, I think that it is possible as long as you keep it a secret. =) If you do buy pinks or blues then maybe keep them at a family members house, or even a friends house who would also be able to keep a secret like that. I know another couple that was like you and your husband and it worked the whole way. She just bought greens and yellows that she brought home. If you do slip up ever in front of your husband, for example you buy a boyish outfit and leave it laying around at home.. then see if a friend has a girl's outfit that you can borrow and purposely leave it around the house for your husband to find. He wouldn't know what to think then!

Good luck !! Hope everything works out for you. =)

  7. You go ahead and find out the gender and I would suggest you to hide the baby clothes from your husband unless they are unisex (white,yellow)...

  8. My husband didn't either. I let his best friend talk him into it. He told him why it financially made sense to find out. It worked because I now know I am having a girl!

  9. This is what one of my friends did.  She found out and wrote the s*x down on a piece of paper and put it in an envelope marked 's*x of Baby (Surname)' andleft it casually on the table in the hallway.

Sure enough curiosity got the better of him (passing the envelope every day!) and he looked after a week!

You could give this a go!

  10. Find out, but keep it to yourself... Hide the stuff you buy, BUT!

Be warned: My sister wanted to find out the s*x of her baby, was told it was a boy. The midwife said thats a boy alright, I can see the p***s. She bought everything in blue...and gave birth to a healthy baby girl.

  11. I've heard of a few couples like this. It can be done, you just have to keep things hidden. Things like baby clothes you may want to keep in a bag if they aren't gender neutral. You can have him agree not to go into the nursery once you've made up the crib and all that. It all depends on how you two can compromise.

  12. I used to work at a veterinary hospital, and one of the vets and her husband had this dispute.  She didn't want to know but he did.  He found out what it was, but instead of doing pinks and blues, they just decided on a neutral theme or color....I think they decided to do a safari baby animal theme with a lot of cream colors.  But just because your husband doesn't want to find out, doesn't mean that you have to be in suspense until your baby is born.  Just find a common ground and go from there :)
