I don't know how much of this job I can take anymore. I am not having any luck finding a job close to home since we live in an area that is severely economically deprived. An hour's drive is what it might be to find another job, then making it not worth the money. Should I just stay at my current job (even though I am very depressed from working here and it's affecting my home life) or should I quit and quickly try to find another one?

  1. Never ever quit one job without having another waiting in the wings. Why does you husband not work? If there is some physical reason he can't do a regular job, he can do work online at home but he needs to be doing something to support both of you, you shouldn't have to be the sole source of support.

EDIT: Beware of work at home scams, or work at home offers that state thousands of dollars a month, which is unrealisitc, and of course, never fall for a scam that requires ANY money upfront. Those are ALL scams.

You can try westathome.com, alpineaccess.com, liveops.com. All legit companies, no money required.

  2. It's always easier to find a job when you HAVE a job.

Quitting and finding a job is doing it backward.

Look for a job, and when you find one, THEN quit.

  3. I live where the economy is really bad as well. I know it sucks, but the way the job market is I would stay at the job you have now, and make every effort to find another one as soon as possible. But, if it were me I would not quit the job I have until I have found another one  The chances of you quickly finding another job, if you quit the one you have are slim right now. I hate my job as well and it effects my home life sometimes, but you gotta do what you gotta do. I wouldn't take the chance. Good luck and I hope things start looking up for you :)
