My husband got divored in candada from his 1st wife do you know how we can get a copy of thoese papers?

We live in the Texas now and when he got divorced his ex just had the judge sign since he wasnt present at the time. So he never got a copy of the papers. is there a web address where we could buy them from.

  1. Your husband should have been given a copy of the papers and smart people often make several copies in case of loss or damage.  


  2. Get a paralegal to did them up for you.Cheaper than a lawyer.

  3. There is a web site that you can check and give them the information year Surname.  It is At the Court house in Toronto.  Or Archives that carry all copys of Birth and Death and Marrige and Divorce.  How ever He should have also received a copy himselve.  And you have to know which province they were married in.  Then you can go from there.  You may have to write or email that province if it is not on file in Toronto.
