My husband and I are losing our house but we are afraid that immigration might do send him back. We just aren't sure.

  1. I would not think that that would be a factor at all.  There are so many people in the same situation now.

Just hang in there.  Hopefully things will brighten up for you soon.

  2. a green card is for working in this country where you live is not important to this. you wont get deported.

  3. Loosing your house will not get your husband sent back to his country.

i have a friend whose parents are immigrants and have lost their home and are still here. And loosing your house has nothing to do with immigration.

  4. Is your affidavit of support still valid?  Do you still have sufficient income and assets to meet all of the obligations you signed for with the affidavit of support?  Losing your house is not grounds for deportation, but you must continue to fulfill your obligations for the affidavit of support.
