  1. If you are married, HE does not have a high credit card, the two of you do.

    Cosign?!?!?  You are married.

Get it together.  Quit living like you are waiting for the end.

  2. What would I do?

I would cosign. Why? It saves ME money.

    What should you do?

It depends on how you handle money as a couple. Generally, signing is a good idea if your husband is likely to remain your husband for a while (ie. not going to die, leave you, etc etc).

Only exception could be if you are planning on making a capital purchase with just your name on it. Signing his card could lower your credit score enough to effect your loan rates. Keep in mind that for most large expenses you are likely to have both your names on it anyways.

  3. If you want to keep your credit score better than his, I opt no way, that is, if you can cosign his credit card for a better rate.

  4. no you don't. did you know if he passes away before you and has this bill and you aren't co signer that its forgiven and you can moe on easily. yep i found this out and that is good.

  5. I dont think you can cosign on a credit card.  If he has had the card for a while tell him to call the credit card company and ask for a lower rate they usually do give you a lower rate in at least 7 tries

  6. If your talking about high credit card interest rate, i suggest he not used the card and if u can get a better rate than he then add him as authorize user of your card.Just make sure he go out of control on purchases and missed payments or else creditors won't give u the lower rate until the damage is all cleaned up.
