My husband has been sick he has the stomach flu/virus; constantly throwing up and diarrhea and is diabetic?

with a fever that stays between 100.2 and 102.2. He is also diabetic.

  1. Check his BSL every 2 hours.

    Take him to the doctor if his BSL gets to low.

    Give him something to bring down his temperate.

    Make sure that you give him plenty of fluilds.  


  2. Looks like a sort of bacterial infection.  He might need antibiotics.  You need to take him to the doctor.  

  3. Ring the hospital and ask a professionals opinion!

  4. Really important to keep testing his sugar level. Infection and sickness can make sugars rise. And as others have said hydration is extremely important especially if his sugars are running high. You should at least consult his doctor over the phone discuss his symptoms and sugar levels. Best of Luck.

    Watch his fluids and electrolytes.

    Check his blood sugar levels often.

    See a doctor if it doesn't resolve soon.
