  2. If your husband is not a co-borrower on the card nor an authorized user, you are not responsible.  However, the bank might consider that you gave him authorization when you made the card available to him.

The other consideration is that it is either an authorized use or it's fraudulent use of a stolen credit card, which is a crime.  If they do charge back the money, nobody is going to want to sit back quietly and eat the loss.  At some point, a police report may get filed.

  3. most probably not! you could always see if one of your husbands friends want to go with him and pay to change the details on the ticket?

  4. i tried with expedia and they would not let me they said the tickets were non refundable.

its their choice so id ring them and find out as soon as you can.

as far as trying to claim on your credit card insurance - you could try but i wouldnt waste my time

  5. You usually have 14 days to cancel the transaction if it is not carried out in person.

  6. hi

If he is not a cardholder of this account than whoever took his deposit has broken every data protection act in the country! I can only speak if this is in the UK, if its not his name on the card, they have to speak to you to authorise him giving your card details (VERY STRICT) if they havent - they are at fault and you have a very high chance of being refunded, good luck to you. x

  7. i work for a credit card company & we don't cover for holidays or tickets. you'd be better off ringing the holiday company to see if you can have your money back

  8. i surpose so.

  9. only if you want to prosecute him for fraudulantly using your card.  "I dont want to go" is not a reason accepted by holiday insurance and the credit card company will only be liable to refund if the holiday company go bust.
