My husband has paid ten thousand rupees excess in Mar 2006(financial yr 2006-2007)?

can anybody help me whether we can get that money back in this financial yr 2007-2008. He is a salaried employee. Pls explain the process of getting the money back,

To get excess amount paid in FY 2006-07, you must file tax return for FY 2006-07. You will get refund.

The amount can not be adjusted in FY 2007-08.

This cannot be adjusted now. This should be claimed while filing returns for FY2006-07; if he has not, he can certainly claim this in his returns filing.
