Well we have a daughter who we adore so much.

I am currently 13 weeks pregnant and hoping for a healthy baby boy. We will love her the same if it's another girl. Right now, since we don't know yet, we are praying for a boy to balance our family.

Everyone is telling me that he will be just like his dad.. mostly girls... and I don't help either. I don't have any brother but just two sisters.

  1. no my husband has a boy family and we got a girl

  2. Completely untrue. My husband has no sisters, but his brothers both had daughters.

  3. That's silly.

It has nothing to do with genetics, and everything to do with which sperm punctured the egg.

If it was an X chromosome, you will have a girl.

Y on the other hand, means boy.

Being a male, your husband has both X and Y.

You being a female, only have 2 X's.

So, your husband has both male and female spermies.

It just depends on which of those male and female spermies are the strongest and most determined.

    Also for actual evidence.

    My aunt had 4 boys.

    Those 1 has 2 boys.

    1 has 1 girl.

    1 has 1 boy and 1 girl.

And the last has 3 girls and 1 boy.

  4. Definately false. I have 3 brothers and my boyfriend has 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Boys are the majority on both sides yet we are expecting a girl.

  5. No sometimes girls/boys run more in families but it will not mean you cant have a boy - also it is the sperm that determines s*x so your family history should not make a difference.
