My husband inherited some antique furniture. What is the best way to sell it?

Some of the furniture is from around 1890, but most pieces are not that old. Some of the pieces are very nice, others have been refinished, which I am aware will lower the value.

Sell it on eBay. You can check out this site to see if there is any similiar piece of furniture in order to gauge the price.

Contact one of your local antique stores and get someone over to evaluate your furniture.You can also call a local appraiser.  Don't assume because it is old it is worth something but give it your best shot.
