My husband separated from the Air Force about 5 years ago. He has a 60% service-related disability for which he receives disability funds every month. My question: Is there a scholarship or grant that exists for me as his spouse, to help pay for graduate school? I live in TN. Thanks for any help you can give!!

  1. Hi:  Below is the VA web site that describes the Dependent's Educational Assistance Program.  It looks like the benefits might only apply if your husband were totally disabled from his injury or if he were to die from injury-related complications.  It doesn't look like TN offers educational benefits that will cover you either.  Still . . . you should call 1-888-442-4551 to check.  Also, there might be other options (such as grants/scholarships) on the second link below.  Good luck!
