My husband is disrespectful to me, what do i do?

My husband doesn't listen to me, is dismissive when he does listen to me, sometimes doesn't come home at night (rare but it does happen) and puts his friends ahead of me... we have a kid and i am just so unhappy, what do i do?

Get a back bone! Tell him that you and I took vowes and I am a person who has feeling. I would not take his c**p just b/c you have a kid together. What is that teaching them? Put your foot down when his friends are there and tell your husband in front of them how thing are going to be if you are needing his attention right then. Make your self herd! You have a right to be put first!!! If he doesn't like it then though drain the bank acct and leave!

Get a life outside that house.Get friends and support.If he is treating you this way it usually only gets worse,So you need to work on you and strengthen what he is disrespecting.

You can't change him, but you can decide you'll no longer be around for him to disrespect.  Take your kid and go.  You'll be much happier.

Stand up to him , face hime squarely and ask him as to what the matter is. The more u take it lying down, the worse the worse it will get.

life is not worth living unhappily. you don't have to stay together for your child. i promise you, if you are unhappy your child will learn to be unhappy as well because he/she will think your life is the normal way to live. don't stay with your husband for your child's sake...LEAVE your husband for your child's sake. you don't need him if he's going to disrespect you.
