My husband is from honduras is it harder to fix his papers than from mexico?

If you are a US citzen then you should have already went to immigration to get the forms and information. Going through a lawyer does not get it done faster.  Also check out

http://www.uscis.gov  website.  I don't know about Honduras but if you are a US citizen it should be about the same processing time as Mexico. Which is about a year after you send in the forms and another year for an appointment after approved. You will also need to make sure you make enough money a year to fix his papers or else you will need a sponser. You can get all that information and forms from immigration office.

What do you mean by "fix his papers?'  Do you mean for him to get a passport and visa, or to immigrte to the U.S., or what?
