  1. In your computer there is actually a favourites folder where all your favourites are saved most software will look for it automatically though.

  2. put them all in a file on your desk top and then you can put them into the new browser

    why is he changing he has been looking at too many adverts for firefox Etc;

    these so called other browsers are in fact no faster than any other they just change the internet settings for you with out asking all they do is change your internet protocol TCP/IP settings,

    you can fine tune internet explorer 7 to be faster than all of them...

    in reality they all work the same it is all a myth and advetisers hype

    that one browser is better for you or faster than an other.

  3. im guessing anything related to the internet, just any other programs like messenger, you dont need to readd your contacts to messenger, just download it again and sign in it should still have everybody there, just like when you get online at a friends house or whatever

  4. If you are using Windows and you are using Internet Explorer that would be really funny to see. Your computer will unfortunately not be able to do much if he is successful. IE is the virus that keeps the windows and explorers opening on your computer.

    If you are lucky enough to be using something else besides IE. I would suggest that you open IE and get it to discover that it is no longer the default web browser and have it import the bookmarks from your other program. Look in Tools, Internet Options, Programs and then check the box about default browser.

    Then when hubby puts the browser back on that you use reverse the process with your other browser eg Firefox.

    Otherwise you could always export your bookmarks to the desktop.

  5. When your internet connection is stopped most of your accounts and information is stored on a server. Your husband doesnt have access to the server so your information is remotly stored. As for your favorites they should stay there unless he removes "internet explorer" - if he does just back them up before its too late.

    If you have a laptop you could always use your neighbours wireless internet connection.

  6. If it is your computer, tell your husband to keep his grubby hands off it. That is what I would expect my wife to say to me.
