Me and my husband are married he just got stationed at Fort Bliss. He said he did not want me to move with him because he was going to Iraq in Oct and he wanted me close to my family for the deployment. Later I found out that he took his best friends wife with him and they are living together off post. I called is command and they told him they he is under dirrect orders to pay me half his BAH untill we are divorced. but now it is the first and he changed his number and I have no way of getting a hold of him and he is in a new unit now and Fort Bliss cant search for unless I know what unit he is in. I dont know what to do and i don't think it is fair that he is supporting another MARRIED women with the money he gets to support me. Please help someone cant he get in trouble if he is living with another women and married to me?

  1. If you have a dependents ID card you need to make an appointment with the Post Sgt. Major and ask for assistance. Or you can have your lawyer do it.

FYI if you aren't honest with either of these people you will get absolutely ZERO cooperation in the future, keep in mind the senior NCO on the post has been around for a while and probably heard & seen it all.  Also be sure to bring any paperwork with you showing what you've said - that he is being ordered to pay you 1/2.

What does his best friend have to say about him shaking up with his wife?

Another place to start would be the base chaplain - they can help.
