What do I do to make him smile and forgive me? It was just a silly argument.

Perhaps you can edit your post & provider the readers with a little more details as to what the argument was about.  The only way we can truly give you good advice is to know the situation at hand.  

It's easy for anyone of us to tell you to apologize, but what are you apologizing to.  What may be stupid to you may not be stupid to him... we are sensitive in our own ways & we take things differently, therefore saying I'm sorry doesn't make things better.

1....kiss n tell dat u are really sorry...jus dat i like 2 b kiddish at times.

2....surprise him with his favourite dishes n delicacies...

3....phone him during his work hour....odd time...jus to tell him dat u really love him....n u are really sorry 4 d argument....

4....send him a card sayin sorry....along with a gift like a tie...o his fav deo..of perfume...o nethin dat u know will please him...

5...get tickets for a movie o get a movie dat he really wanted to watch but cudn watch it...

6...get him a nice scented oil...n surprise him wid a massage....

jus try n do wat he loves 2 do...n hear from u....

If so silly, it's just your point of view.  Evidently he doesn't agree.  Perhaps you did not show respect for his position as husband or father?  Men are like that, they want to feel important, and respect often means more than love.

Apologize, and don't brush off a disagreement as being "silly", when evidently it's not. Learn something from this, and ask him to respect you for understanding his feelings better.

When we have silly arguments, I usually try to make him smile by saying that I'll do something sexual to him (most of the time I don't but it thaws the chill and makes him smile a bit).

Say you are sorry about the argument.......hopefully he just doesnt say ok, or something like that.  He should say he sorry also.  If he doesnt, time to start up another fight.  lol

Depends on what the argument was about.  It may have been silly to you, but maybe not to him.  I would just try to give it some time, but definatley apologize for the wrong you committed against him, whatever or however silly it may seem to you.  Also try to ask him exactly what it was/is that upset him.  Don't try to discuss it too much, as that just makes things worse.  Keep it simple and just admit your fault in the argument.  Also, remind him that there will be times in your marriage that are hot hot hot, and times that you will hate each other; but for better or for worse, you love him and will do whatever it takes to always be there for him.  Guys don't need our female complex emotions to forgive us, they just need a simple apology, admit you will work on not doing it again,.......and give him a ******** =]  I don't know any man who could be uspet after that!
