My husband is scaring me...does he have precognition or is it a crazy coincidence?

My husband and I have been married for 9 years and some strange things have happened within that time. But, the other day something happened that was just too strange.

We decided to have lunch at a little cafe located in a department store. We live in a relatively big city (population: approx. 189,000). So, NOT a small town.

While we were sitting there, my husband started to laugh. I asked "What?" and he said "I thought that blond woman over by the baby toys was Mrs. R (one of our daughter's teachers)." I looked over and saw that it was NOT Mrs. R and then we continued eating. 10 minutes later I looked up at the same spot by the baby toys and I said "Oh my God. There is Mrs. R!" And sure enough, my daughter's teacher was standing there in the same spot as the 1st blond woman!

We both sat there kind of freaked out and speechless. What do you think about it? Does my husband have precognition or is it just a crazy coincidence?

  1. No, that happens all the time.  I've run into people I know in foreign countries!  And I'm not talking right over the border - I'm talking on the street in Munich.  200,000 isn't as much as it sounds - you're going to run into people you know all the time - you probably know at least a couple hundred of them, so that greatly increases the probability.

  2. May trhis be a Quantum info channel oppened spontaneously?

  3. crazy coincidence

  4. Perhaps he does. Is that unsettling to you?  If so, why? Many people have precognition but no one wants to talk about it because it can't be scientifically proven. It doesn't seem to be very consistent, and it's not always accurate.  I think that on some level everyone is pre-cognizant, but that we have been taught to suppress it.  There are lots of coincidences in this world, too,  and your experience was well within the range of coincidence. I have heard much weirder firsthand stories from people who live in traditional cultures where they are not taught to reject such ideas.

  5. Crazy coincidence.

Think about it... you and your husband have probably had thousands of conversations since you were married. The actually chance that at some point during all the time you have known him he will say something that seems precognitive is actually quite high. You just never notice if a coincidence does NOT occur.

  6. I would say coincidence

  7. Maybe it's like when you think about somebody...then they show up...even if they live far away. You thought about them because they were on their way to see you. Or, you could be talking about someone..as in your case...and there they were. The stranger thing is that she stood in the same spot as the other lady.

I think eri missed the point of what you were trying to say. I think it IS even stranger that she was in the same spot. Guess all you can say about that is ..it's a "mystery"! (These times are when my son & I usually hum that song from "Close Encounters"). lol

  8. No way anyone here can tell you what it was, or wasn't.  Nobody here is an expert on such things.  We're just a lot of opinionated people anxious to tell you how we interprete it if it happened to us.

You'll just have to draw your own conclusions from the experience same as the rest of us do when we have them in our lives.

  9. id say, based on this one incident, that its a coincidence. however, you said strange things had happened before, so maybe not. i feel, if it occurs multiple times, yeah maybe he is having precognitions. but based on this one incident, no, i dont think so.

if he is having precognitions, i doubt its anything to get freaked out about.

and i predict songs on the radio all the time. doesnt mean im psychic, nor that im somehow connected to said radio in my mind. maybe hes just lucky.

  10. I think Mrs. R. was eavesdropping on you guys and when she heard you mistake that other blonde lady for your kid's teacher she ran over and blondie in the shins.  The blonde lady ran and the teacher stood in her place just hoping amongst hope that you would look over once again and be completely mystified.

I'd start paying more attention to Mrs. R if I were you and get the police involved if you have to.  Stalking is a serious problem.

  11. Crazy coincidence, if it happends 2 more times most likely he is       precognition but dont jump to conclusion he might have just been lucky.

  12. coincedence, for sure.

  13. I dont see how it was precognition. There was actually a woman who looked similar to Mrs R.

If he said so, and there was no other woman there, then it would be something to consider. However, this can only be viewed as coincidence.

  14. I would say this story is the very definition of coincidence.

  15. I personally think it can be a precognition of some sort.  This kind of thing happens to me all the time.  I can be thinking of a song I haven't heard in a very long time, and then it will come on the radio the same day.  My friends and I will be talking about an old movie, then I come home and that movie will be on.

Perhaps, it could be a sign from a love one who has passed on.

  16. How often does this happen? If its not something that happens a lot I would say its just coincident.

Of course there is nothing to be afraid of even if it is not! I believe that many people have gifts. There is nothing creepy about it. No need to worry!!!!

  17. Well, judging by your story, it sounds like your husband maybe physicic.  He defineltly has a unique ability that he should admire greatly.  I just don't know quite what it is right now.

  18. Crazy coincidence.
