My husband is waiting for his interview at the embassy in amman. His case is finished. How long b4 interview?

My husband is sending to the National Visa Center the check list for his immigrant visa. Once reviewed he will be given an appointment to have his interview at the embassy in Amman. Does anyone know how long it will be before his interview is scheduled. Ex. once check list is reviewed and case is closed as of April will he probably be scheduled an interivew in May so he can come home.

You will be notified once your husband's file has been received at the US Embassy Amman.  At that point, you will be officially notified of your appointment date and time.  As far as processing time, it depends on staffing and existing workload requirements.

The Immigrant Visa Unit requires submission of case-specific inquiries via fax [phone]) or e-mail ([e-mail]) only; telephone inquiries are not accepted.
