My husband jumped in a pool with his LG VX8700 in his pocket!!!?

Question

Does anybody know if it's repairable? We'll have to pay full price for a new phone and I hate to part with the money if this phone can be repaired....

my friend's phone went through the washer and she put it in a bag of rice and it worked fine!!the rice will suck out the water. you shuld keep it in for about 2 days.

I suppose the rice would work but I swam with my phone for about a half hour, took the battery out and let it dry for about a week and it worked fine after that. Take the battery out and sim card too if you have one.

Most of the time when a cell phone gets wet it will work fine after it is completely dried out.  I would wait until it's dry and try it out before making any decisions...good luck.
