He left us with no money, unreliable transportation and my 3 small boys and I had to move out of our house. I am currently looking for employment after several yrs of being a stay at home mom in an unsafe vehicle.

  1. There are many agencies that will help you. Social Services, perhaps local churches, The Salvation Army may be able to be of some assistance for you as well. Depending on the state you live in. Where I live some second hand stores also provide help and support through these trying times!

  2. good luck finding a job... youll need it... sorry to hear

  3. you should be able to get some sort of assistance.but i don't think you will get enough to survive on which means getting a job.as for the transportation thing no one will help you with that.you will need to just keep driving it and pray it doesn't break down.good luck.

  4. find someone that isnt in jail.  He is there for a reason, is that someone you would want to raise your children

  5. I am in the same boat as you. And I have the same questions. However my husband was the soul provider and we are just now loosing our house. Sorry!!!

  6. Take the bus.  It's cheaper and safer.

The county welfare office should be able to assist you with food stamps, health insurance and money (if you're lucky).  Call information, ask them for [Your County] Welfare Office.  Tell the person who picks up that you need to schedule an appointment to come in.

    Good luck.

  7. go to your local church or to an agency that offers welfare, housing etc.  You need to do everything you can to take care of your children.  They can also help you find a job, provide food etc.  Good luck to you.

  8. go sign up for welfare like every other lazy woman who depend on these dead beat men to take care of you and your children... you should have had a job from the beginning you knew that man was on his way to jail anyways what did he do violate his probation, sell drugs, or DWI

  9. Why not turn to family to help you guys with living situation until you get onto your feet?  But I do know some churches will put you up and help you until you get on your feet.  I would not take the husband back if I were you.  Go to your fam,ily or his for help.

  10. Divorce him.  Taxpayers will take care of you since you are a single mother w/ 3kids.
