  1. For fast turnaround, try one of these employment agencies:

    Employment Resources

    2211 Lee Rd

    Winter Park, FL 32789-1800

    (407) 647-8367

    Workforce Central Florida

    (800) 757-4598

Good luck to you and your husband!

  2. My first thought would be night manager or staff at a resort, hotel, campground, etc.  With tourism such a big business in Orlando, I would think there would be tons of these jobs available, and many of them would likely be entry level positions.

Scan the papers, check with employment and temp agencies in the area, and just show up with resume in hand at the locations that would be particularly convenient to him.

Also, many discount stores, warehouses, etc. hire night crews to stock the shelves or load & unload trucks.  Check with those types of stores (Wal-Mart, Target, etc.) as well as shipping and freight companies such as UPS, etc.

Be prepared to pass a background check and a drug test--if you are going to be handling cash (hotel clerk) or working around heavy machinery (freight handler) the company will expect you to have a clean record and system.

There are probably other late-night jobs at round the clock restaurants, bars, and other night spots in the area.

  3. Apply for a security or maintenance job at Disney, Universal. A night auditor or front desk at any resort on I-drive.

He could stock shelves at Walmart or work at a diner like Denny's or The Waffle house.

I know these may not seem like the most coveted jobs but they are all hiring to begin work ASAP.

You can go on their websites to either download applications or set up interviews.

    Good Luck.
