  1. to me sounds like you are unfit...looking for a reason to take kids away from their mother.  Get a life and stay out of hers

  2. Wouldn't it have been easier to call the police station and ask them rather than posting a question on here?

  3. The police report should be available under FOI (Freedom of Information). Be aware that if a juvenile is involved the name would be redacted but the generalities would still remain. In addition the radio/dispatch logs can also be requested under FOI. If they're electronic records they should show the call for service, the address the police were dispatched to and the result (no report/arrest made/etc).

You must go to the Records Department of the station and make this request. Be sure to have the date and time this occurred. If not at least info such as her name or the address you're looking to get the information about.

There's usually a nominal fee involved...probably anywhere from fifty cents to a dollar per page.

  4. And how is this character anymore "fit" than the mother if he doesn't know in order to obtain a police report one calls the police department?

    Good luck!

  5. He needs to ask for a copy of the police report.

  6. Go to the police department and ask for them. They aren't private, you can retrieve them.

  7. that would depend as to why the police were called, what they found, and if anyone was arrested.  her being unfit is something that your husband's lawyer will have to prove in court...and he's going to need more than just a single incident police report.

  8. you can always ask for a copy of the police report but doesn't mean they will give it to you.

  9. police reports are public record...

  10. how is she unfit?

  11. Yes, he should tell them it concerns his children and ask for the report. Or his attorney can subpoena it to use in court.

  12. If she is unfit call social services to get involved.  Just because the police were called doesnt mean she is unfit.

  13. That still won't prove it. It depends on what the report is for and why it happened and the most important thing is if she was unfit why didn't they take them right then that's what the cops do. Why do new wives always try to start trouble with the ex when kids are involved the first thing you all do is try to tell them how to raise their kids mind your business.

  14. Just go to the police station and request a copy....

  15. Yes. Police reports are public information.  If you know the date of incident, go down to the police report and ask for a report.

  16. Why not leave the kids alone and stop messing up their lives?

Do you honestly think it is fair to them to have their biological parents at war? Do you think custody battles are healty for them?

If the police were at her house and they saw the kids in danger, social services would be called. Were they? If no, then she is not an unfit parent and you guys constantly badgering her and getting on her case is not helping matters is it? Think about the kids well being, not your own selfish wants.

  17. That would be the logical thing to do...

Now stop wasting your time on the computer.. Hop to it!
