My husband still kisses his parents on the lips is this weird or just me>he's 35?

we have been married for 9 years and I am really grossed out watching my husband kiss his dad and mom on the lips..he says I am crazy

I think it's weird.  My husband did that too when we were first married, he was 30 - he stopped after I told him I thought it was weird and that it grossed me out.

Aww he just loves his parents... but it is kinda weird i stop when i was bout 7 or 8..

it's just a habit, I think. in some families kissing on the lips is a way to show their love to each other and there's no problem about this.

Some families are more affectionate than others. I have seen this with several adults and find it odd on occasion myself. But, I came from a non-affectionate family. I'm 30 and have never once heard 'I love you' from either of my parents. It just depends on the family. If it makes you uncomfortable, don't watch when they greet and let them know that it's not really your style, if it's something they want you to do as well...without making them feel as if they need to stop. And explain to your husband why you are uncomfortable with that type of display of affection.

If you have or plan to have children, you should discuss what your family will do about this as well. If your children grow up with a dad who kisses on the lips and a mom who won't, they may feel neglected or embarrassed and other kids may question the dynamics of the household.

Yea I think it's pretty strange. You should let him know that it bothers you or he'll never stop & you'll be stuck seeing it forever!

I think it is weird and sick..I mean I have uncles who are that age and they give their mom a hug not a kiss on the lips. I am 25 and I hug my parents not kiss them. Kissing your mom is one thing but your dad? Yeah when you are about 2-5 years old . No you are not crazy... like I said I think it is weird.

Very weird for a 35 year old man to still be kissing mom and dad on the lips!  Good grief!  A peck on the cheek is okay... lips, not okay!

I'm 28, I still kiss my mom and dad on the lips. Just a quick peck. I don't think thats weird at all.

iT'S SO WEIRD BUT THE thing which's even more weird is that the parents of a 35 year old kiss their son on lips or allow him 2.

I NEVER kissed my parents on lips!!!!! And I never knew that children kiss their parents on lips!
