But I would like to invite our out of state friends and family so I would like it to be a great thing to attend for all these people to come out for. It's November so it is chilly so my options seem slim. Anyone help me with ideas that would make it worth the trip for out-of-state people. PS we live in CAli

  1. I'm sure a lot of people would love to come to CA in Nov, depending  from where you came, but I wouldn't have great anticipation on the people coming.  @ 30 most are worrying about home loans, children, other expenses.  The flight/drive @ gas prices/lodging could be horrific.   Just plan on a small, intimate party with friends--finger foods, veggie stix, etc.

  2. 70's party (he was born in '78).

    Vagas theme

    Luau

  3. enjoy the two between the two  in away that you both has neverdone till date after the marriage. some newest way of enjoyment rmemberable for ever.

  4. How about a Mexican theme, mariachi band, pinatas, and have someone come and do some salsa dancing then have a lessons for everyone!

Maybe a Luau, decorate with tiki torches, leis, surf boards, have hula dancers and also have a lesson for all!

    Have fun!

  5. Surprise him with a Barbershop Quartet singing happy birthday and a few good harmony diddies.

If you like the idea, I can help you find a quartet in most parts of the country, just email me.  We do it all the time here in Colorado.  You can expect anywhere from $50 to $200 depending on how many songs or amount of time.  Always gets a great reception from guests.
