  1. as of now, it is preferred that u have a passport but an I.D and BIRTH  CERTIFICATE will do.

  2. charlie is right

  3. Passports are not needed for LAND travel to and from Mexico until summer 2009. Adults now need a photo I.D. and proof of citizenship...EITHER a passport OR a birth certificate. Children need their birth certificate.  See site below for  current info.

  4. Yes, your daughter needs a passport.

  5. WELL DESPITE THE PASSPORT IS BETTER,,,,,   THE CAL. I.D. AND HER BIRTH CERTIFICATE WELL DO GOOD.  YOU MIGHT NEED TO SHOW MORE I.D. FOR THE PARENTS.

THE DRIVE IS GOOD. JUST MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A GOOD TIME AND DRIVE LIKE YOU WOULD IN USA.

PLEASE KEEP YOUR DAUGHTER WITH YOU AT ALL TIMES AND  DON'T LEAVE HER ALONE NOT EVEN AT THE BATHROOM.  JUST AS YOU WOULD HERE IN THE STATES ONLY A LITTLE MORE CAUTION.
