My husband wants to buy a motorcycle....?

street bike or cruiser? I have NOOOO idea about motorcycles, something below 5000.00 good mpg and safe...what are our options?

first get him to take a safety course. then at that price look for a used metric 650-750cc.

Try looking at Kymco and Hyosungs line, good bikes price right lower than the j*p imports and just as good and they are not imports from China

Get a suzuki savage(boulevard these daze) 650cc

Get a used crusier with a couple thousand miles on it like i did, i got a 06 kawasaki vulcan 900 custom for 6000 with 3000 miles on it and i absoultly LOVE it. i would recommend it to anyone, stay away from kymco and anything chinese or tiawanese.

My husband and I have a cruiser. We love it. We go many places and meet lots of people. beats sitting around watching T.V. As far as saftey goes, Take a safe riders corse, please, if you havnt been riding.

a cruiser is a street bike.  i would suggest a cruiser over a crotch rocket any day of the week, safer, much more stylish, and comfortable for you to go along too
