I would like an honest answer from someone that has one of these units as to how they measure up to claims by the ad.

This is alot of money to put out for something that does not produce the desired results. Thanks, any help would be great.

    Oversize Toaster

I bought an Eden Pure 1000 and used it for 2 months. The product worked fine for my 176 square foot room but when I got my electric bill it was 120 buck more than without using it. I didn't use it on high very often and I don't believe it would heat up to 1000 square feet like it advertised because my whole house is only 1100 square feet and it just kept one room comfortable. I really didn't see a "savings" in my LP gas bill either. It did quit working once. Nothing more than a clogged air filter though. Being on a limited budget I could not afford to use it so I unplugged it and have not used it since. I don't recommend buying one if your looking to save money. I can't believe I got suckered like that. I believe it worked like a toaster oven with a fan. Raw electric! If I had known how it worked before buying it I would not have purchased it. Infra red, I thought it heated the air while using limited electric like some new space age heater they advertised. I was very unsatisfied with it considering Paul Harvy endorsed it as an energy savings product. I feel I was taken for a ride.

    Not worth the money

Bought the Eden Pure 1000 for over $400 with tax. We have used it for 2 months and our electric bill is sky high. It is more expense to use then the oil furnace we have. You can not reculate the heat on it if you turn it down to the comfort zone it does not turn on you either have to run it on high or it doesn't work. Called where we bought it and they said it probably done that because it wasn't cold enough in the house to operate on the comfort zone. How cold does it have to get down to 50 degrees in the house for it to operate on the comfort zone. Our electric bill went from under a $100 a month to almost $300. I don't see any savings at all on a person's heating bill. In fact I think you pay more out for heating using the Eden Pure Heater. When they say it saves half on your heating bill it is probably right but they neglect to say you will pay a huge electric bill so you are not saving any money on heating your home at all. I think it is false avertising when they make thier claims on tv. I would not recommend the Eden Pure Heater to anymone it is a rip off. It is a expense heater to buy and it is even more expensive to operate.

Eden Pure 500 model... pure junk

2/18/2008 - Zack of New Hampshire, USA writes:

I bought the 500 model Eden Pure heater in November after my usually reliable neighbor talked up the heater. The unit died after 35 days and when I called they said sorry no refund. I received my label to ship it back and it's been two months without any communication. I called the toll free number and got a voice mail today. We have since bought a new furnace and rezoned our heating so we don't even need this useless heater. What do you think my chances of getting my money back are.... slim to none. I would not recommend this company to anyone. After reading the reviews it's apparent that many of thier units are junk! Hopefully, a class action suit is coming soon. Count me in.

  2. electric space heater, they are not efficient as a hot water boiler or oil/gas burner.  Save your money.
