  1. I heard an ad the other day on the radio (WGN) for Ruth's Chris's Steak house.  They are having a summer special 2 people so 2 entres and sides and dessert for around $80.  Call and ask about it.

The other thing you can do is check restaurants on Restaurant.com and see what ones look good and print out a coupon.   The prices are good and I have never had a problem with a coupon.

  2. maybe he might want ribs try carson for ribs pretty decent price

  3. I think you will have a great meal no matter where you go (except outback! it's like the wal-mart of steak places)

    chicago has awesome food.

  4. ive heard that gibsons is the like best steak house here.

[i wouldnt know cuz im a vegetarian.]

    but gibsons is pretty pricey.

    probably the most expensive,

i went there once with family,

and it was like $150 for 3 people.

with appetizer, 2 steaks, drinks, desserts.

[i just had something to drink.]

outback is probably the cheapest one.

[their bloomin onions are amazing. aha. :]]

  5. Ruth's Chris... a little pricy, but excellent food. The good thing tho about living in Chicago... we have great restaurants(hmm.. no wonder were one  of the fattest cities in the world) lol

  6. When we've gone out to a nice steakhouse we've tried to go to ones that aren't as "mainstream" as Morton's or Gibson's and we've really enjoyed Saloon Steakhouse in Chicago and Pete Miller's in Evanston. But, the best steak I ever had was at Keefer's - the parmesan crusted filet was absolutely great!!

Other options that are always fun and have a lot of good food is Brazzaz or Fogo De Chao - that way you can get all sorts of meat and try new things all for one price. Plus they both have really good salad bars!

  7. Morton's for a traditional American steak house. But Fogo de Chao is the best steakhouse I've had. It's Brazilian steakhouse, a bit pricey though.

  8. Lawry's (as in Lawry's seasoned salt)--it's a steak restaurant downtown.

  9. Chicago Chop House

  10. Morton's of Chicago.  World reknown steakhouse.  Dinner for 2 ....1 app, 2 salads, 2 steaks, 1 dessert, tip....about $140.  Not counting wine or liqour.
