My husband was granted a conditional residence almost 2 years ago, in may we have to go to immigration to remove the conditional residence to permanent residence. He works in Florida, and I go to school in Georgia, he lives with friends while he works, he owns no property but his car is registered in florida and he has filed his taxes for work in florida, i stay with my mom in Georgia while i go to school, and i don't work, so should we go to immigration to remove the the conditional residence in the state of Florida or Georgia?

  1. Florida, there is no income tax.

  2. I'm not sure it matters but be prepared to explain why you aren't living together or the condition won't be coming off. Just saying you are in school and he's working in another state sounds fishy to me.
