My husband wears nylon shorts and they don't smell clean when I wash and dry them.?

I am going to try letting them air dry but other than that what can I do to rid of the body odor they have? Keep in mind I use a laundromat .

I with the other person, unless it is in the privacy of your home... it is kind of out of date and obscene.  To get them clean, soak them overnight in dishsoap or shampoo water then wash them vigorously.  Rinse several times.  Hang to dry.  Please try to get him in some cotton!  : )

Sorry, I pictured the short shorts people use to wear.  Just soak the suckers, and wash really hard and rinse really well.

You can also try fabric sotener and let them air dry, or get dryer sheets.  I agree with the vinegar OR baking soda suggestions....try them both.

Add a cup of baking soda to the water, when washing them.  Try to let it soak about a half hour before putting through final wash.
